The Mirror still is in search of the winner for its annual first baby contest.

A winner has yet to be determined. An advertisement in last week’s edition of The Mirror included a deadline of Jan. 4.

However, a baby has not been selected as of yet.

The parents of the first baby born in 2008 will receive several gifts from area communities.
