Show to go on: Tonganoxie Invitational to run as scheduled
Although classes were canceled early Thursday morning because of snow, Tonganoxie High School athletics director Brandon Parker announced later Thursday morning that the Tonganoxie Invitational would proceed as planned.
The first game will be a girls consolation bracket game between Jeff West and Atchison. It will be the first of four games, with all being consolation games. At 4:30 p.m., the Jeff West boys will battle Eudora, and at 6 p.m., the De Soto girls will take on Rossville. The final game will be at 7:30 p.m., when the Tonganoxie boys take on Silver Lake.
