He was born Nov. 20, 1974, in Rocky Ford, Colo., and graduated from McLouth High School. He most recently was employed by Able Inc.

Mr. Sanders had many passions in his life, including Kansas University – he especially loved going to Allen Fieldhouse and Memorial Stadium – as well as family and friends, and especially his girlfriend, Robin Lewis.

Survivors include his parents, Kit and John Ring; and his sister, Kaitlan.
