It will combine with the 4-H spring garden and food fare, which will include fruit and vegetable judging as well as other perishable foods.

The tech portion of the event will include robotic demonstrations, as well as rocket launching. Beth Hecht with Leavenworth County 4-H said she hopes to have GPS geo-caching available also.

More than 20 4-H youth members will be involved in the tech show. They are meeting throughout this week in preparation for the event.

Saturday’s activities are free and open to the public. Because the tech camp was so popular, a mini-camp is slated for July for those youths who were not able to get into this week’s program.
