DeHoff traveling with Kansas rodeo squad
Recent Tonganoxie High School graduate Courtenay DeHoff competed recently at the Kansas State High School Rodeo finals in Topeka, where she qualified for the national team that will represent Kansas in New Mexico next month.
DeHoff, who competes in barrel racing and goat tying events, qualified for the national event in goat tying. She has been a member of the Kansas High School Rodeo team for the past four years and represented Kansas as its queen the past two years.
Following the national competition in July, DeHoff will travel to Montana with the National Junior Angus Association leadership team, and in August she will head to Oklahoma State University, where she will study broadcast journalism and compete on the rodeo team.
