Amanda’s Law unanimously passes Senate
Amanda’s Law has made it through the Kansas Senate.
The proposed legislation, which would increase drug testing at fatality accidents, passed, 40-0, Friday at the Statehouse.
The push for the law change has come from Dennis and Denise Bixby of Tonganoxie, as well as Rep. Kenny Wilk, R-Lansing, and Rep. Roger Pine,
R-Lawrence.
Amanda Bixby, daughter of Dennis and Denise Bixby, was killed in a three-vehicle accident Feb. 14, 2007, near Basehor.
