The highlight of the sports-filled evening will be the boys soccer season opener (6 p.m. at Chieftain Park) but three other teams will be on display for the first time with red-white scrimmages.

The Chieftains cross country teams will make trial runs at 4 p.m. Continuing the night of scrimmages, at 5 p.m. inside THS, will be volleyball intrasquad matches for both the ninth grade and junior varsity volleyball squads, with the varsity to follow at roughly 5:30 p.m. And at 7 p.m. at Beatty Field, the Tonganoxie football team will have its red-white game.
