Marilyn Oxley and Thamar Barnett had lunch with Gladys Steffen and John Steffen on Thursday.

The Gateway Club bell choir of Leavenworth will perform from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Jarbalo United Methodist Church. Along with the performance, Santa will make an appearance. Everyone is invited to attend.

Thamar Barnett attended a party celebrating the ninth birthday of her great-granddaughter, Taylor Barnett, at the home of Taylor’s parents, Loren and Kersten Barnett of Lansing, Sunday afternoon. Taylor’s birthday was Dec. 4.

David and Jane Turner went Saturday to Topeka for the meeting of the Santa Fe Trail Leather Artists Guild.

David and Jane Turner had lunch with David Jr. and Tracey Turner and Sydney Sunday. It was in celebration of David Sr.’s birthday, which was Dec. 5.

Bid Sheppard went with Jeff and Lenora Dickinson on Sunday to Oskaloosa to have dinner with Rita Dickinson and other family members.

Thanksgiving dinner guests of Orville and Rosie Oelschlaeger were John and Janice Oelschlaeger, Amy and Erin, Mark Oelschlaeger, B.J. Oelschlaeger and friend, Joanie.

Linda Blanton of Troy and Valorie Blanton of Lawrence recently helped Rosie Oelschlaeger decorate for Christmas.
