The Gateway Bell Choir of Leavenworth performed at Jarbalo United Methodist Church Sunday afternoon. Santa Claus made an appearance.

Monday, Dec. 4, Sid and Karen Sheppard, of Topeka, Charles and Connie Sheppard, of Lenexa, and Kathy Powers were dinner guests of Bid Sheppard.

The December dinner meeting of Jarbalo United Methodist Women was cancelled due to bad weather and will be held at the January meeting, which will be Jan. 13.

Bible study was also cancelled but it will resume this week.

Tammy Mooberry is recovering from knee replacement surgery at the home of her mother, Thamar Barnett.
