Luke Cole and Kyle Schwinn were visiting and having lunch Dec. 7 with grandma Evelyn Schwinn. The local school students were enjoying some snow days off from school also that week.

The Sunday school of Springdale Friends Church will have its program at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Following will be a time of visiting and refreshment after the worship.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp were in Atchison shopping and on business the afternoon of Dec. 8.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp attended the reunion of the class of 1946 on Dec. 1 at Pullman Restaurant in Leavenworth. There were 18 present. A very wonderful meal was served.

Winter came in with a bang. Very cold air and lots of winter, rain, ice and snow Dec. 7. School was out at noon, no school Tuesday or Wednesday.

Rob Noble was visiting Wayne and Anabel Knapp the evening of Dec. 9.
