At the dual tournament, THS finished second in its pool and then was paired with a second-place team from another pool. There were four pools, and the top team in each pool advanced to the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals squared off in the championship, while the losers wrestled for third place.

THS placed seventh, as the squad picked up a 46-36 victory against Blue Valley North and a 77-6 win against Bishop Ward. Platte County outscored THS, 66-6, while Louisburg slipped past THS, 39-34.
