In the girls bracket, Lansing defeated Jeff West, 56-35, and Silver Lake bested Atchison, 55-24.

Lansing was led by Brittney Lang, who scored 18 points, and Amy Briggs added 15. Jeff West’s Audrey Mullin scored 14.

Silver Lake’s Amanda Lewis went 11-for-18 from the floor and scored 26 points.

In boys action, Lansing beat Atchison, 65-45, and De Soto handled Jeff West, 68-47.

Lansing’s Cody Rush drained all three of his thee-point attempts and led the Lions with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Mason Wedel came off the bench for De Soto and went 4-for-6 from downtown on his way to 22 points. Jamel Townsend scored 15 for the Wildcats. Cole Buckman and Alex Baker each had 13 points for Jeff West.
