Kimberly Schwinn celebrated her 18th birthday with family on May 27.

Dave and Julie Zule entertained on May 31 with a cookout to celebrate the May 10 birthday of son Derek and the 6th birthday of their daughter Courtney. Attending were great grandparents, grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousins. They each had a special cake made by grandma Schwinn.

The area farmers have finished their planting so rain Tuesday was great. Now you will see them in the hay fields.

Ed Gillaspie celebrated his 60th birthday on June 3 with a day off from work.
