FFA visits state convention
The Tonganoxie Future Farmers of America Chapter won several awards, student scholarships and State Degrees at the State FFA Convention in Manhattan.
In total, 13 Tonganoxie FFA members attended events May 27 at Kansas State University with adviser Randy Kraft.
While at the convention, members attended educational, motivational and entertaining sessions that enhance the FFA experience.
Hilary Saathoff and Richie Ridihalgh earned their State Degrees, while Shawn Kesinger and Clint Oelschlaeger received national FFA scholarships from Ford Trucks/Built Ford Tough.
The chapter also won three National Chapter awards in student development, community development and chapter development.
