On March 5, Sharon Lynn and Evelyn Schwinn visited their cousin, Doris Vance, at St. John Hospital, then enjoyed lunch and some shopping.

Luke and Emily Cole spent March 9 with grandma Evelyn Schwinn, as there was no school.

Myron and Jody Schwinn, Herbert and Geneviene Schwinn and Evelyn Schwinn went to Gardner to have lunch with Earl and Mary Barbara, Allen and Carolyn Thomas. They were celebrating Mary Barbara’s birthday, which was March 11.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp went March 8 to Oskaloosa after church. They ate at Rose’s Restaurant, and went shopping at the new Dollar General store in Oskaloosa. They went to McLouth United Methodist Church to help Louise Gilbert celebrate her 95th birthday with a big crowd. They also went to Leavenworth for Citizen Mutual’s 125 years celebration. More than 1,000 people attended — a good turnout.
