Leavenworth County included in tornado watch
Leavenworth County, along with a handful of other northeast Kansas counties, is part of a tornado watch the National Weather Service issued just before 1 p.m. Friday.
The watch also is for Atchison, Doniphan, Wyandotte and Johnson counties until 8 p.m.
