There will be a benefit concert for David Foster, who has cancer, at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds in Tonganoxie. There also will be a chili supper. Performances by artists and bands will start at 3:30 p.m.
Thamar Barnett, Kevin and Sandy Butler were Thursday evening dinner guests of David and Jane Turner. Joining them for birthday cake and ice cream honoring Jane were Kathy Stimac, Tammy Mooberry, Ronnie Mooberry and Ricky Morris.
On Saturday, David and Jane Turner went out with Tim and Kelly Kouns to celebrate Jane’s and Kelly’s birthdays.
Also on Saturday, Zeke Aufdemberge, of Auburn, visited Bid Sheppard on his way to Kansas City International Airport to pick up his wife.
On Sunday, Sydney and Sheldon Mills were afternoon dinner guests of David and Tracey Turner.
Charge conference for Jarbalo United Methodists Church and Fairmount United Methodist Church will be 7 p.m. Sunday in Jarbalo.
