The Bell Choir of the Leavenworth Gateway Club will perform at Jarbalo United Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to come enjoy the entertainment. Santa Claus will be there.

Guests of Jim and Jean Murry and Michelle Earl for an early Thanksgiving dinner Saturday were daughter Jean Murry, of Leavenworth, Verna Cutright, Rosemary Murry, Elizabeth Murry and Michelle Murry, all of Beagle, and Jessica Labara, of Atchison.

Joel Jr. and Lacey Aufdemberge had a party for their daughter, Reese, in celebration of her second birthday. It was held at the 4-H building in Lansing at 1 p.m. Sunday. Bid Sheppard attended the party.

Saturday, Sid and Karen Sheppard, of Topeka, took Bid Sheppard and Kathy Powers out to eat at Ten Penny Restaurant in Leavenworth.
