The Bulldogs headed into the locker room trailing Doniphan West, 7-0, and was oh so close to a possible tie with a near-blocked punt deep in Mustang territory.

Then came the second half.

DWHS tacked on 26 more points after halftime and cruised to a 33-0 shutout of the Bulldogs on their home field.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 1-4 on the season and spoiled their bid for homecoming victory.
