Bulldogs volleyball ousted by JCN
The McLouth High volleyball season ended on Saturday at Wellsville in a Class 3A sub-state tournament.
The Bulldogs lost to Jefferson County North by the slimmest of margins, 20-25, 28-26 and 25-23.
It was the fourth time MHS (22-16) played JCN this season and the Bulldogs came up on the losing side each time.
Senior Kylie Shufflebarger ended her prep volleyball career with another stellar performance, putting away 20 kills.
Jeri Holwick led MHS with 14 assists and Courtney Chilcoat finished with seven helpers.
The bracket’s top seed, Central Heights, won the sub-state tournament to earn a trip to state.
