Sunflower Broadband Channel 6News will bring a live telecast to Tonganoxie at 6 p.m. today. The 30-minute show will take place at Tonganoxie High School. The public is invited to arrive at 5:30 p.m. It’s a chance to meet many of the on-air news, sports and weather personalities from Channel 6 and see how a live newscast looks behind the scenes.

Much of that day’s newscast will be devoted to issues and news items from Tonganoxie.

“We think this is a great way to say thanks to our viewers in Tonganoxie for making 6News a part of their lives,” 6News director Cody Howard said.

There will be free bratwurst, soda and water for the first 150 people who arrive for the newscast.
