TMS football teams both 2-1
The seventh-grade football team at Tonganoxie Middle School improved to 2-1 this season with a 24-12 victory against Basehor-Linwood this past week.
Jared Sommers scored two touchdowns for the Warriors, and Dalton Tavis and Garret Martin each reached the end zone for TMS.
Tonganoxie’s eighth-grade squad lost its first game of the season to BLMS, 14-8. Tyler Ford scored the Warriors’ touchdown. The team is now 2-1.
