Frances Jeannin had 15 guests for Easter dinner.
Joel Jr. and Laci Aufdemberge and Reese brought their new baby girl, Kinley Lynn, to visit Bid Sheppard Sunday afternoon.
Julia Carter and Shianne of Iola visited Thamar Barnett Saturday and Sunday. An Easter dinner was held at Thamar’s Sunday for family members. Those attending were David and Jane Turner, Derek and Luci Barnett, Jared Barnett, Eric Barnett, Kathy Stimac, Kipp Barnett, Loren and Kersten Barnett and Taylor, Jesse Blake Barnett, Tammy Mooberry, Rhiannon Mooberry, Madison Smith, and Julia Carter and Shianne.
Some of the group went to the cemetery to put things on Connie Barnett’s grave. On the way they stopped at Bid Sheppard’s and “Easter heralded” her by singing “He Arose.” Those singing were Jane Turner, Kathy Stimac, Kipp Barnett, Tammy Mooberry and Julia Carter. Others going along were Rhiannon Mooberry, Madison Smith, Shianne Carter and Thamar Barnett. Bid said it was reminiscent of when the Barnett sisters had their shows at the Boling Grange Building and of them all singing at church in their younger days. The whole family sang Christmas carols around the neighborhood for many years.
