McLouth Happenings

By Staff | Apr 6, 2010

Cub Scout Pack 81 of McLouth held its annual Blue and Gold banquet March 27. This year’s theme was mad science and included skits, presentations and science experiments put on by the scouts.

Cub Scouts in grades first through fifth have been working all year on their rank achievements in such areas as citizenship, nature, conservation, outdoorsmanship and health. Fifteen scouts were awarded their rank badges, including Travis Bartlett and Jaykee Schaffer, who earned the Arrow of Light, the Cub Scouts’ highest award. For more information about scouting, please call Jenny Kuglin: (785) 550-7196.

• Freda Meyer was honored with cake and coffee on her 97th birthday March 26 at The Town Clipper. Friends enjoyed visiting and eating cake with her. Wyatt especially enjoyed the cake.
