MHS boys drop home game
The McLouth High boys basketball team fell behind early and couldn’t recover in a 48-41 home loss to Valley Falls on Friday.
After a six-point second quarter, the Bulldogs trailed by nine at the break.
Although they outscored VFHS 26-22 in the second half, it wasn’t enough for a win.
Senior MHS guard Cole Batman led the team with 17 points.
Trevor Roberts scored 10 and had a team-high five rebounds.
Derek Wright led the team with three assists.
McLouth (3-12) has a 7:30 p.m. game at Troy on Tuesday.
