McLouth girls win OT road game
The McLouth High girls basketball team scored just three points in overtime at Horton on Tuesday, but that was all the Bulldogs needed for a 52-49 victory.
MHS shut out Horton in the overtime period to improve to 11-7 on the season.
Senior Missy Rome scored 26 points, passed out four assists and grabbed five rebounds to help McLouth break a two-game losing streak.
The Bulldogs passed the ball well at Horton as three players — Terri Stewart, Morgan Drinnon and Kylie Shufflebarger — finished with three assists.
A senior, Shufflebarger led the team with six boards and scored 11 points.
MHS plays on Friday at 6 p.m. at Oskaloosa.
