McLouth School District ranks 14th in ACT scores
The McLouth school district was ranked 14th by Ingram’s Kansas City business magazine among the top Kansas City area school districts, according to ACT scores, in the January 2010 edition.
Ingram’s rankings covered a 22-county area of school districts in Kansas and Missouri.
ACT scores measure students’ readiness for post-secondary work.
McLouth’s ACT average was reported at 22.1 (2009) and 21.6 (2008), giving it a No. 14 ranking among Kansas districts. The Kansas average is 21.9. McLouth’s score compared to the same score of districts ranked No. 10 on the Missouri list.
McLouth also ranked No. 6 with 75 percent of graduating students taking the ACT in 2009.
