The Chieftains’ home basketball games against Bishop Ward, originally scheduled for Friday night, have been postponed due to winter weather.

The THS wrestling team, too, will not be in action this weekend. Tonganoxie was supposed to compete at Louisburg on Saturday, but that event also has been canceled.

Next up on the schedule for the Chieftains’ basketball teams are Tuesday games at Turner, in Kansas City, Kan.

Tonganoxie’s wrestlers will be back in action Jan. 15 and 16 at the Basehor-Linwood tournament.

THS basketball teams have been off since Dec. 18. The wrestling team’s last event was on Dec. 19.
