A meet the candidates event will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22 at the Tonganoxie VFW Post Home, 910 E. First St. in Tonganoxie. Statewide candidates for the Aug. 3 primary have been invited. Sponsors for the event are First State Bank and Trust and Tonganoxie Post 9271.
