Peggy Gillaspie and Evelyn Schwinn went to Gardner on Thursday, March 18 to visit Mary Barbara Allen and have lunch with her.

Adam Schwinn celebrated his 18th birthday on March 12. He is a senior at Pleasant Ridge.

Amy Schwinn hosted a Pampered Chef party at her home on Friday, March 19. A large group of friends and relatives attended. Amy served a great buffet.

Once again winter returned for the weekend of March 21, giving the Springdale area a nice blanket of the “white stuff.” Come on spring!

The Alexandria Fire Department has purchased another fire truck. It was brought in by trailer truck from Maryland.
