The Bulldogs swept Atchison, 5-0 and 10-3, at home to improve to 4-0 this season.

Senior MHS pitcher Kaley Patterson threw a perfect game in the opener, retiring all 21 AHS batters in order.

Kendra Leach pitched and got the victory in Game 2.

The McLouth offense was led by Jessie Troupe, who went 6-for-7 in the doubleheader, and Leach, who finished 6-for-8 on the night.

At 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Bulldogs play at Pleasant Ridge, in Easton.
