Tonganoxie lifters win state medals
Tonganoxie High power lifters won three state championships on March 5 at the Class 4A state power lifting meet in Abilene.
The THS girls had two state title-winners, Domino Grizzle and Ashley Kotowske, and one of the Chieftains’ boys, Jordan Boudreaux, won a state title.
Three other power lifters from Tonganoxie placed in the top three. Shelby McDaniel and Makayla Sample were state runners-up for the girls and Bryson Hewins placed third for the THS boys.
