The club will conduct the Summer Intro Run, a 2.8-mile race, at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Wyandotte County Lake Park in Kansas City, Kan. The race will take place on a fast course that doesn’t have major hills.

Cost is $15 per runner until June 10 and $20 after.

In addition, the club will offer a night trail event — the Rock The Night Away! half marathon, 10K and 5K races — at 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Lake Perry. A flashlight or headlamp is required to participate in the night races.
