Final plans were made for the pancake supper March 11. Tables and chairs were set up for the event.

Rosie Oelschlaeger had the lesson and read about Women’s History Month UMW Style. She also served refreshments.

The next meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. April 13. Before the meeting starts, there will be a pie-making session at 1 p.m. The unbaked pies will be frozen and sold at the Rummage-Bake Sale that will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 29 and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 30.

The Fall Creek Cemetery Corporation met Saturday at the fire station in Springdale. Ron Joles was re-elected as secretary. Jeff Dickinson is director and Jackie Schwinn is treasurer. The group has planned for a workday, April 16, at the cemetery.

Those visiting Bid Sheppard on Sunday were Jeff and Lenora Dickinson, Mark and Katie Aufdemberge, Emma and Charlie. Saturday Sid and Karen Sheppard of Topeka visited her. Kathy Powers’ grandson Ryan Powers of Globe, Ariz., is visiting her during his spring break from the University of Arizona.

Tammy Miller, Hannah and Ava, of Basehor, visited Virginia Murphy on Sunday.
