THS soccer has busy week ahead
The Tonganoxie High girls soccer team’s Monday match at Kansas City-Washington was abruptly called off when THS received word Monday afternoon that Washington didn’t have enough players to compete.
Chieftains coach Justin Seever said he did not know whether the match would be rescheduled.
THS (2-8) will still have a busy week coming up. Tonganoxie has back-to-back home dates Wednesday and Thursday. In a change of venue and time, Wednesday’s home match with Basehor-Linwood will begin at 5 p.m. at Chieftain Park. The Chieftains will return to their regular field on the THS west campus for a 4 p.m. Thursday match against Ottawa for Senior Night.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, THS will play at Blue Valley Southwest.
