The Chieftains (7-13) will travel to face No. 2 seed Sumner Academy (10-4) at 4 p.m. Monday at Kansas City, Kan. in the first round.

A win Monday would send THS to a regional semifinal at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday against the winner of a first-round game between No. 3 Jeff West and No. 6 Basehor-Linwood.

The regional semifinals and final will be played Tuesday at Ozawkie Field in Ozaawkie.
