Pets in the Grove will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with contests for pets and youngsters at Kelly Grove Park at Kansas Highway 7 and Gilman Road.

Prizes will be awarded to the pet with the longest ears, fluffiest tail, most unique, best pet dancer and best singer, as well as closest look-alike pet and person. Dogs can bob for toys and participate in the Sit, Down, Shake Walk.

Children younger than 12 can compete in dog treat stacking or gummy fish stacking.

Entry fee for each event is $5. Proceeds will benefit LCHS animal welfare programs. Registration forms are available at LCHSInc.org, by e-mail at LvnCoHS@live.com, or on the LCHS Facebook page.
