The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Monday, April 23

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator’s report

  • Approval of minutes of April 12

9:15 a.m.: Keith Rickard, Guidance Center director — annual report

9:30 a.m.: Executive session to review proprietary information regarding a potential economic developer

Commissioners will review bills for the remainder of the day.

Tuesday, April 24

Noon: Mid-America Regional Council board meeting

Wednesday, April 25

11:30 a.m.: Leavenworth County Port Authority

Thursday, April 26

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator’s report

  • Approval of minutes of April 23
  • Approval of agenda for week of April 30

9:15 a.m.: Diane Collins, human resource director — discussion of performance management program

9:30 a.m.: Jeff Joseph, planning and zoning director

  • Case No. 05-12: Consideration of an application for a special use permit for a contractor’s yard at 16040 Linwood Road. Request submitted by Mike Crosby.
