Pastor Rob Santel and Rebecca enjoyed lunch on Dec. 16 with Jeanette Cole, Luke and Emily, and Evelyn Schwinn. In the evening, a group from Springdale Friends Church went caroling at Country Care in Easton. They were joined by members of the Stranger 4-H Club.
On Dec. 17, Peggy Gillaspie visited Evelyn Schwinn. They made a business trip to McLouth.
The Schwinns received news of the death of Don Jones. He was the husband of the late Lavara (Fevurly) Jones, a cousin.
Jeff and Jenna entertained with a fourth birthday party for their daughter, Aubrey, on Dec. 15. Family and friends attended the party at the Gillaspie home.
Wayne and Anabel Knapp attended an open house for their pastor and wife, David and Goldana Dec. 16 at the parsonage for members of the Methodist Church.
