PHOTOS: Kids play with blocks at Basehor-Linwood Parents as Teachers program
Children from 8 months to 8 years old built — and, more often than not, knocked down — walls, towers and other structures with a variety of different blocks during a Basehor-Linwood Parents as Teachers BLOCKFest session Monday night at Basehor Elementary School.
Parents as Teachers offered three free BLOCKFest programs Monday night and Tuesday morning, intended to help children build math and science skills through block play.
A photo gallery from the 7:15-8:15 p.m. Monday session is available at left.
