McLouth Happenings

By Beverly Muzzy - | Mar 27, 2012

First Baptist Church Choir will present “It’s Not Just A Story” on Palm Sunday, April 1, at the 10:45 morning worship service. Everyone is welcome.

Five McLouth community churches invite you to attend Holy Week Services during the week prior to Easter: April 1-8. For decades, it has been a tradition for McLouth’s churches to rotate worship services. Palm Sunday through Good Friday, an evening service will be held at one the five churches. The pastors will also rotate. These services will take us through the final week of Jesus’ life and his Crucifixion. We’ll celebrate Jesus Christ’s Resurrection together at the Community Easter Sunrise Service. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit the different churches. Everyone is welcome.

All Evening Services begin at 7 p.m.

Palm Sunday, April 1: First Baptist Church; Monday, April 2: Stanwood Friends Church (about three miles southeast of McLouth – off Highway 16); Tuesday, April 3: Springdale Friends Church (nine miles east of McLouth — off Highway 92); Wednesday, April 4: Church of the Nazarene; Maundy Thursday, April 5:  First Baptist Church; Good Friday, April 6:  United Methodist Church;

Easter Sunday Sunrise Service and Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.,  Church of the Nazarene.

All of McLouth’s churches will hold their traditional Easter Worship services.
