On Saturday, April 21. Jeanette Cole, Linda Brenda and Evelyn Schwinn attended the Spring Tea at the Methodist Church in Easton. They were of the Springdale Friends Church.

The Board of Springdale Friends met at the home of Bill and Brenda Schwinn to discuss repairs to the church building. They enjoyed a carry in dinner before the meeting.

Jennifer and David Roggenkamp and boys of St. Mary’s were weekend visitors of the Johnny Schwinn’s. On Monday, April 23. Jackie was celebrating her birthday.

Ed and Peggy Gillaspie enjoyed the weekend of April 20 in Branson, Mo.

The 68th annual meeting of Leavenworth Jefferson Electric Corporation was held Tuesday, April 24, at 7:00p.m. at McLouth High School Theater, Auditorium, with Wayne and Anabel attending.

Estal, Kirk and Justin Knapp were supper guests of Wayne and Auabel Knapp on Saturday evening of April 21. Estal was an over night guest of his parents. He came in to watch the races at Kansas City.

Were finally having summer weather, it sure was a nice. We do need rain though.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp helped serve the breakfast at the fire station in McLouth. They had the biggest crowd ever and was a nice day on April 21. Their Sunday school class served the breakfast.
