Fowler Cemetery will hold memorial services at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 27.

Services at McLouth Cemetery will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Memorial Day.

Band instrumentalists ranging from seventh grade to adult are welcome to join in the fun of Tonganoxie’s Community Band, directed by Charles Van Middlesworth. Rehearsals will be 7 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evenings: May 29, June 5, 12, and 19 in the Tonganoxie High School band room. Be ready to play at 7 p.m. Tonganoxie High School is across from Sonic on Highway 24-40. Use the “Performing Arts” entrance. The band plays pop and concert selections. Its annual evening outdoor concert will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, at VFW Park.
