Assistant director Brad Eccles said 19 youths ages 6-13 participated in the event.

Winning their divisions were Cole Parker (6-7 boys), Owen Welsh (8-9 boys), Coby Claypool (10-11 boys), Cadence Cole (10-11 girls) and Justin Phillips (12-13 boys).

The winners now advance to the sectional competition, which will be Nov. 4 at Beatty Field in Tonganoxie. Winners of each competition move on and eventually could compete at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs.
