GIRLS SCORES
De Soto 46, Bishop Seabury 35
The De Soto girls trailed by four points at halftime, but stormed back for a nine-point win against Bishop Seabury in the opening round of the Tonganoxie Invitational.
Megan Bonar and Paige Williams led the Wildcats with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Courtney Hoag paced the Seahawks with 17 points.
Seabury will play Lansing at 3 p.m. Thursday for a spot in the fifth-place game, while DHS will face Silver Lake at 3 p.m. Friday for a spot in the championship game.

Silver Lake 60, Lansing 31
Ashlyn Lane led all scorers with 29 points and 10 rebounds as Silver Lake cruised to a win against Lansing in its tournament opener.
Mackenzie Freeman chipped in 10 points for the Eagles, who won last year’s tournament. Jasmine Meyer and Mikayla Zilenski led the Lions with seven points apiece.

BOYS SCORES
Holton 64, Atchison 50
Atchison led by six points after the first quarter, but Holton scored 26 in the second to take control.
Tyler Burdiek was one of three Wildcats to reach double figures with a game-high 19 points. Garett Beecher scored 13 points and Cameron Karn 12 for HHS. Tyson Downing and Austin Downing led Atchison with 17 and 11 points, respectively.
Atchison will take on Eudora in a consolation game at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Holton will play Lansing in semifinal action at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Lansing 45, Eudora 40
Lansing fell behind by as many as 10 points and trailed after three quarters, but used a fourth-quarter surge to get by Eudora.
Roy Clayter led Lansing with 11 points, while Joe Schneider scored seven points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Eudora’s Andrew Ballock and Tyler Hadl led all scorers with 20 and 13 points, respectively.
