Brian and Linda K. Schwinn had a patio party for Justin Schwinn on June 15. He returned to Langley Air Force Base the next day in Virginia.

The Sunday School youth honored the fathers at Springdale Friends Church on June 16 with cards and little loaves of nut bread.

Evelyn Schwinn joined the Ray Cole family for lunch on June 16 at the Pullman Place Family Restaurant in Leavenworth. They later visited Ray’s father for Father’s Day.

Linda Haley of Springdale fell a week ago at her home. She broke her hip and collar bone. She is in Leavenworth and will be there for several weeks. We all wish her a speedy recovery.

I think everyone is enjoying the nice weather. I know the farmers are getting crops around the Springdale area. They’re thankful for the rains.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp have been attending their grandson, Austin Knapp’s, games. He enjoys it and it sure draws a crowd.
