Plans were finalized for the chili and soup supper. Tables and chairs were set up for the occasion. A tea is being planned for next spring.

Peachez Joles had the program and read quotes from famous people and also a lesson on the origin of colloquial sayings. She was also the hostess and served refreshments to Marilyn Oxley, Faye Cleavinger, Elaine Onasch, Frances Jeannin, Rosie Oelschlaeger, Pastor Larry Grove and Thamar Barnett.

Eric Barnett had lunch with Thamar on Thursday.

David and Jane Turner spent the week in Branson, Mo. Kathy Stimac and Terry Drennon of Reading spent several days in Joplin with them.

Erin Oelschlaeger and a girlfriend visited Orville and Rosie Oelschlaeger on Tuesday. Gary Oelschlaeger met Orville and Rosie for coffee Wednesday in Lenexa.

Marilyn Oxley, Rosie Oelschlaeger and Helen McBroom had lunch at Shark’s Cove on Thursday in Basehor.
