Tonganoxie, McLouth residents earn degrees from KU

Tonganoxie and McLouth residents were among nearly 4,450 candidates to receive degrees this weekend at Kansas University.

KU’s 142nd Commencement was Sunday.

KU graduates represented 88 Kansas counties, 45 other states and 41 other countries this spring.

Here’s a look at local students who were set to receive their diplomas.

Tonganoxie

Sarah Diekmann, bachelor of fine arts in design; Jacob Fairbank, bachelor in business in supply chain management; Jacquelyn Ferguson, of master in environmental engineering; Cooper Gish, bachelor in journalism and minor in English; Krista Jobst, bachelor in African and African-American studies; Bethany John, bachelor in health information management; Annie Mills, bachelor in education.

McLouth

Nissai Gill, master in social work; Courtney Chilcoat, bachelor in mathematics; Audrey Deeken, doctor in medicine; Ashlee McClelland, bachelor in biology; Rhodes, bachelor in business in finance.
