Fireworks can be discharged from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. daily starting Friday and running through Tuesday (Independence Day).

Fireworks also will be on sale at various locations throughout Tonganoxie.

One of those tents will be in a different location.

The Tonganoxie High School Class of 2024 Project Grad stand will be available during those hours Friday through Tuesday in the Ellie B’s Event Space parking lot, 220 West St. (U.S. Highway 24-40). The tent formerly was positioned each year in the parking lot south of Subway along U.S. 24-40.

McLouth to have concert and fireworks on Fourth of July

McLouth High School Band and community band members (McLouth Community Band) will present a concert at 8 p.m. at Stan Braksick Sports Complex, preceding the Fourth of July Fireworks Display, which will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.).

No personal fireworks are allowed. Enjoy an evening of family fun sponsored by McLouth Recreation Commission, City of McLouth and McLouth Fire Departments.
