TerriLois Mashburn, Leavenworth County Registrar of Deeds, will speak at the event, which will be 9-10 a.m. Dec. 9 at 304 Venue (304 E. Fourth St.) in downtown Tonganoxie near Fourth and Delaware streets.

Mashburn will discuss information about property fraud alerts, the importance of a transfer-on-death deed and other issues critical for land and property owners. She also will give a preview of bills for the 2024 Legislative Session in Topeka that are expected to strengthen the protection of landowners from property fraud.
